Welcoming the Boys to Texas
The past two weeks have been a very exciting time for everyone involved with Hope for Haiti and our efforts to bring medically needy children to the United States for care. Last Monday, March 29th, God made the Way for two boys, Smider and Job, (see March 9th update), to come to Austin for treatment, with the full approval and favor of the Haitian and United States governments. It was a day of many challenges and many miracles, but late that night they arrived at the hospital. Since then they have received bountiful portions of love, attention, and medical care. It’s incredible to see how God has blessed these boys, but He has also blessed everyone who has come into contact with them. The way Smider and Job have responded to love and attention has enriched us all. Many doctors and nurses who met the boys while they were receiving treatment in Haiti have stopped by the hospital to see them and check on their progress. Their comments have been very positive regarding their improvement.
Our prayer continues to be for the Father to open the doors to bring children to the states as He wills. He is so faithful, and His timing is perfect. Hope for Haiti wishes to thank everyone who has been involved in this mission: U.S. and Haitian government representatives, Family Link, Mission of Hope staff, and the many doctors, nurses, and caregivers both in Haiti and Austin. Also, thanks to everyone for their support and prayers. God answers prayer! Thank you Father!
Merci!
